Soraya Rodríguez denies that the EU is going too fast in the green transition based on different monitoring indicators.
Renew Europe MEP Soraya Rodríguez denies that the green transition in Europe is going too fast, as some voices say. To support her opinion, it is based on the same criteria of the 8th Framework Programme for the Environment, in which only 8 out of 28 are reached. Rodriguez asked whether the Commission should present a renewed action plan to bring its demands up to its objectives and whether it believed it is necessary to create a monitoring tool to check on the implementation of environmental laws by Member States.
