Rodriguez says the war in Sudan has caused more than 18 million people to be in alarming humanitarian conditions.
Soraya Rodriguez, MEP from Renew Europe group, ensures that more than 18 million people are in alarming humanitarian conditions, 5 of them in a particularly serious situation, and there are more than 7.5 million internally displaced people in Sudan because of the war. Rodriguez denounces that this conflict is currently causing the largest forced displacement of minors worldwide. The MEP calls on the Commission and the Member States to increase funding to combat the poor humanitarian situation in the country and to pursue and punish those who indiscriminately attack the civilian population and push them into such a precarious situation.
