Talking with Europe

On May 17, Soraya Rodriguez was invited on the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia
and Biphobia by the Office of the European Parliament to the event “Talking with Europe”. It
was an occasion to recall all the work that the European Union has in regards to the rights and
freedoms of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender and intersexuals (LGTBI) and all the
initiatives in that area that us, as Renew Europe, and the European Parliament, are promoting.
We must eradicate discrimination against LGBTI people in the European Union and
guarantee freedom of movement for LGBTI people, as well as protect the rights of
transgender and intersex people.
